Despite increasing global focus, limited research in Iran has explored locally grounded, experience-based components of effective teaching from the perspectives of faculty and students. This study sought to identify and clarify these components within the Iranian university context to guide the enhancement of faculty professional development programs.<br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Methods</strong></span><br />This qualitative study adopted a descriptive phenomenological design. Through purposeful sampling until theoretical saturation, 21 participants were selected: 11 faculty members (average 14 years of teaching experience) and 10 graduate students from public universities in Tehran. Data were gathered via semi-structured interviews and analyzed using Colaizzi’s seven-step method. Rigor was ensured through member checking, peer debriefing, and source triangulation.<br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Findings</strong></span><br />Analysis revealed five core components of effective teaching: personal characteristics of faculty, professional competencies, classroom management, psychological engagement, and educational assessment. These components interact dynamically and reciprocally, forming a cohesive, self-regulating system that renders effective teaching a profoundly human, reflective, and transformative process.<br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Conclusion</strong></span><br />In Iranian higher education, effective teaching transcends mere techniques and emerges as an integrated human process. It is recommended that faculty development programs focus on fostering reflective practice, strengthening communication and emotional competencies, and shifting assessment from grade-orientation to learning-orientation to significantly improve student learning and advance the quality of higher education in Iran. <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>زمینه و هدف:</strong></span> تدریس اثربخش یکی از مهم‌ترین عوامل ارتقای کیفیت آموزش عالی و ایجاد یادگیری عمیق در دانشجویان است. با وجود اهمیت روزافزون این موضوع، در نظام دانشگاهی ایران پژوهش‌های اندکی به شناسایی مؤلفه‌های بومی و تجربی آن از دیدگاه اساتید و دانشجویان پرداخته‌اند. این پژوهش با هدف شناسایی و تبیین این مؤلفه‌ها در بافت ایرانی انجام شد تا زمینه‌ای برای بهبود برنامه‌های توسعه حرفه‌ای اعضای هیئت علمی فراهم شود.<br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>روش:</strong></span> پژوهش با رویکرد کیفی و به روش پدیدارشناسی توصیفی انجام گرفت. نمونه‌گیری به‌صورت هدفمند تا رسیدن به اشباع نظری ادامه یافت و ۲۱ نفر (۱۱ استاد با میانگین ۱۴ سال سابقه تدریس و ۱۰ دانشجوی تحصیلات تکمیلی) از دانشگاه‌های دولتی تهران انتخاب شدند. داده‌ها از راه مصاحبه نیمه‌ساختاریافته جمع‌آوری و با روش هفت‌مرحله‌ای کلایزی تحلیل شد. اعتبار یافته‌ها با بازبینی مشارکت‌کنندگان، بررسی توسط همتایان و تنوع منابع تأمین گردید.<br /><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>یافته‌ها:</strong></span><strong> </strong>تحلیل داده‌ها پنج مؤلفه اصلی را آشکار کرد: ویژگی‌های شخصیتی استاد، مهارت‌های حرفه‌ای، مدیریت کلاس، کنش‌های روان‌شناختی و ارزشیابی آموزشی. این مؤلفه‌ها در پیوندی پویا و متقابل، ساختاری یکپارچه و خودتنظیم‌گر می‌سازند که تدریس اثربخش را به فرایندی انسانی، تأملی و تحول‌آفرین تبدیل می‌کند.<br /><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">نتیجه‌گیری:</span></strong> تدریس اثربخش در دانشگاه‌های ایران فراتر از مجموعه‌ای از تکنیک‌ها، یک فرایند یکپارچه انسانی است. پیشنهاد می‌شود برنامه‌های توانمندسازی اساتید بر توسعه تأملی، تقویت مهارت‌های ارتباطی و عاطفی و تغییر نظام ارزشیابی از نمره‌محوری به یادگیری‌محوری تمرکز یابد تا کیفیت یادگیری دانشجویان ارتقا یافته و جایگاه آموزش عالی کشور بهبود یابد. https://ise.cfu.ac.ir/article_4859_98e99cea9de80bec20fa09f8aff71bd8.pdf
